A Joyful Vacation Camp for Children at St. Antony Church, Allipade
A Vacation Camp for children was organized at St. Antony Church, Allipade, from Thursday, April 23 to Saturday, April 25, 2026.
The initiative was led by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza, whose guidance, encouragement and planning made the event a very effective and well-coordinated.
The camp was organised in association with the Parish Pastoral Parishad and the Women’s Commission.
The various sessions were skillfully animated by Br. Ajay, Br. Vinod, and Sr. Violet Mendonca, who engaged the children through a variety of enriching and interactive activities.
A total of 72 students from the parish actively participated in the camp. Throughout the three days, the children displayed great enthusiasm, joy, and eagerness to learn, making the camp a lively and memorable experience. The program not only provided a platform for fun and creativity but also contributed to the spiritual and personal growth of the participants.

First Holy Communion
The First Holy Communion ceremony was solemnly and joyfully celebrated at St. Antony Church, Allipade, on April 12, 2026, during the 8:00 a.m. Holy Mass.
On this grace-filled occasion, four children received the Holy Eucharist for the very first time, marking a significant and memorable milestone in their journey of faith.
The Holy Mass was celebrated by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza, along with Rev. Fr. Cyril Prakash Moras, Rev. Fr. Praveen Raj Moras, and Rev. Fr. Prashanth Pinto, whose presence added solemnity and grace to the celebration.
The children were prayerfully prepared for this special day through catechism classes and participated in the liturgy with devotion, reverence, and joy.
The celebration was witnessed by parents, family members, and parishioners, making it a spiritually uplifting and joyful occasion for the entire parish community.
Holy Saturday – ಆಲ್ಲೆಲೂಯಾ ಸನ್ವಾರ್
Easter Vigil at St. Antony Church, Allipade
On April 4th, 2026, St. Antony Church, Allipade, celebrated the Easter Vigil, marking the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Easter Vigil service was filled with hope as we reflected on God’s light, grace, and new life.
We began with the blessing of the new fire, symbolizing Christ’s light in the world.
Through readings from Scripture, we remembered God’s saving work, leading us from darkness into light. The blessing of the water reminded us of our baptism and new beginnings in Christ.
The Eucharist was led by our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza, along with Rev. Fr. Anush D’Cunha SJ and Rev. Fr. Leston Lobo SJ. Together, we celebrated Christ’s victory over death and looked forward to a life renewed in His love.
