An input session on Liturgy held at St Antony Church, Allipade
An input session on Church Liturgy was successfully organized for the parishioners of St. Antony Church, Allipade, on Sunday, 7th June 2026, following the Holy Eucharistic Celebration.
The resource person for the programme was Rev. Fr. Rohith D’Costa, Director of Mangala Jyothi, who conducted an enriching and informative session for the faithful.
The session was organized under the banner of 22 Commissions guided by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza, in collaboration with the Parish Council, Small Christian Community (SCC), and the Liturgy Commission.
During the session, Fr. Rohith D’Costa provided a detailed explanation of the Holy Eucharist and its significance in the life of a Christian. He elaborated on the proper manner in which the faithful should participate in the Holy Mass and explained the roles and responsibilities of those involved in the liturgy.
His insightful presentation helped participants gain a deeper understanding of the sacred liturgical celebrations and encouraged more active and meaningful participation in the Eucharist.
The interactive session concluded with a question-and-answer segment, during which Fr. Rohith D’Costa patiently addressed the queries of the participants and offered valuable guidance and clarification.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Madthini Sequeira, Coordinator of the Liturgy Commission, who expressed her gratitude to the resource person, parish priest, organizing committees, and all the faithful who actively participated in the training camp.
The camp proved to be a spiritually enriching experience and helped deepen the participants' understanding of the Holy Eucharist and liturgical worship.
