The Feast of the Assumption and India’s Independence Day 

On 15 August 2026, St. Antony Church, Allipade, joyfully celebrated the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary along with India’s Independence Day.

The Holy Mass was celebrated by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza. The parishioners and students participated actively in the Eucharistic celebration with great devotion and enthusiasm.

The occasion beautifully combined faith and patriotism. The faithful thanked God for the gift of freedom and prayed for the peace, unity, and prosperity of our nation.

The celebration was a meaningful reminder to follow Mother Mary’s example of faith and to be responsible and patriotic citizens.

The celebration concluded with a spirit of joy, devotion, gratitude, and love for our motherland.
