Feast of Blessed Anne Marie Javouhey Celebrated at Cluny Convent, Allipade
The Feast of Blessed Anne Marie Javouhey was joyfully celebrated on 15 July 2026 at Cluny Convent, Allipade, in the presence of the Sisters and the members of the Anne Marie Club.
The celebration began with the Holy Eucharist, solemnly celebrated by Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza, Parish Priest of St. Antony Church, Allipade. In his homily, Fr. Robert highlighted the inspiring life and mission of Blessed Anne Marie Javouhey and encouraged the club members to imbibe her values of faith, courage, and selfless service. He also motivated the students to be open to God’s call and to consider religious life as a noble vocation.
Following the Eucharistic celebration, the participants shared a fellowship meal, fostering a spirit of joy and togetherness. As a token of remembrance, each participant received a potted plant, symbolizing growth, hope, and care for creation. The celebration concluded with a festive lunch enjoyed by all.
The feast was a meaningful occasion that deepened the participants’ appreciation of the life and legacy of Blessed Anne Marie Javouhey.
