INVESTITURE CEREMONY
INVESTITURE CEREMONY held at St Antony English Medium School, Allipade

The Investiture Ceremony of the school Cabinet of St Antony English Medium School, Allipade, was held on 28th June 2025 with great enthusiasm.
The programme began with a prayer song, followed by a beautiful welcome dance by the students.
The newly elected leaders proudly marched forward to receive their badges and sashes from the dignitaries.
Rev. Fr Robert Dsouza, the School Correspondent, administered the oath of office. He encouraged student leaders to be firm and effective in their leadership role and contribute for the well-being of the students community.
The Headmistress Sr Lavina Veigas, The management committee members Navin Moras, Vincent Pinto, Joachim Pinto, Ronald Pais and parents of the leaders were present in the programme and encouraged the students with their gracious presence.
The School Pupil Leader Disha expressed her gratitude and promised to uphold the responsibilities with sincerity and dedication.
The event was compered by Ms Sowmya. Ms Joyce welcomed the gathering highlighting the value of student leadership and the programme was coordinated by Ms Babitha and teachers. The ASPL Moksha delivered the vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, marking the beginning of a new leadership journey.
World Drug Abuse Awareness Day
St Antony English Medium School Observes the World Drug Abuse Awareness Day.
St Antony English Medium School marked the *World Drug Abuse Awareness Day on June 26, 2025 with great enthusiasm and a clear message promoting a drug-free lifestyle. The special morning assembly was led by Class 4 students, under the guidance of the class teacher Ms Joyce, aiming to raise awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse.
The program began with a solemn prayer, followed by a meaningful speech by student Maanvi, who emphasized the significance of the day and the dangers associated with drug use.
A thought-provoking skit was performed by the students, portraying the consequences of drug abuse in a way that was both impactful and easy to understand. The students shared slogans to encourage their peers to stay away from harmful substances.
The Headmistress, addressed the students, advising them to be cautious and avoid taking food or drinks from strangers, warning them about substances that could harm their well-being.
The assembly was beautifully compered by Sinchana. The event served as a meaningful step in educating students and reinforcing the importance of leading a healthy, drug-free life.
School Parliament Election
School Parliament Election held at St Antony English Medium School, Allipade.

The School Parliament Election at St Antony English Medium School, Allipade was held with great enthusiasm and democratic spirit. The event provided students with a first hand experience of the electoral process and the value of responsible leadership.
Nominees from various classes campaigned with confidence, presenting their visions and ideas to their peers. The election process was transparent and well-organized, encouraging active participation from students across the upper grades.
The voting was carried out in a systematic manner, closely resembling real-world democratic practices. Ballot boxes, polling booths, and proper voting protocols were followed, creating an atmosphere of seriousness and excitement.
The Headmistress addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of leadership, teamwork, and service. She encouraged all students—whether elected or not—to continue contributing positively to the school community.
The election not only highlighted the democratic values upheld by the school but also served as a platform for nurturing future leaders.
International Yoga Day
International Yoga Day observed at St Antony English Medium School, Allipade

St Antony English Medium School celebrated International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and discipline.
The program was gracefully hosted by Druthi, who welcomed everyone and introduced the theme for the day — “One Earth, One Health.”
The event began with a prayer song followed by the Karnataka State Anthem. Rion Alric presented the significance of the day, stressing the importance of yoga for a healthy body, mind, and soul.
Sarthak shared an inspiring thought for the Day and the latest news updates were presented by Shabarish.
The Headmistress addressed the gathering with encouraging words on maintaining a healthy lifestyle through daily yoga practice. She motivated students to stay balanced, both mentally and physically.
Pranav led the Yoga Pledge, reinforcing the commitment to regular yoga practice as a path to personal well-being and harmony with nature.
The highlight of the programme was a yoga demonstration led by Ms Sowmya and students. They showcased simple yet effective yoga postures. The demonstration inspired students to include yoga in their daily routines.
The assembly concluded with a heartfelt thank you note. The students dispersed with a renewed spirit of peace, health, and unity. The theme “One Earth, One Health” was effectively conveyed, leaving a lasting impact on everyone present.
World Music Day
The World Music Day observed at St Antony English Medium School, Allipade.

On the occasion of World Music Day, St Antony English Medium School celebrated the joy, rhythm, and beauty of music during a vibrant morning assembly on June 21, 2025. The assembly was thoughtfully conducted by the enthusiastic students of Class 5, who showcased their talents with great confidence and spirit.
The programme began with a soulful prayer rendered by the school choir, creating a calm and reverent atmosphere. This was followed by delightful musical performances:
Sahith played a soothing tune on the flute and Reeshel captivated the audience with her performance on the keyboard. Disha added rhythm and energy with the cymbals.
Swaliha presented the significance of World Music Day, helping everyone to understand the importance of music in life and culture. Zain shared the thought for the day, reflecting on the emotional power of music, and Dishwith announced the theme of World Music Day 2025, which resonated with the universal appeal of music as a tool for peace and expression.
The school Headmistress addressed the students and staff, emphasizing how music plays a vital role in education, emotional well-being, and cultural understanding. She encouraged students to participate more in music-related activities.
Rev. Fr Robert D’Souza, the Correspondent of the school, added depth to the celebration by delivering an engaging explanation about various musical instruments. While showcasing a PowerPoint presentation, he described the origin, structure, and sound of each instrument shown on the screen, sparking curiosity and appreciation among the students.
The programme concluded with applause and joy, as the students left the assembly inspired by the rich and universal language of music.
World Reading Day
Reading Day observed at St Antony English Medium School, Allipade.
St Antony English Medium School observed the Reading Day on 19th June 2025 with great enthusiasm.
The event aimed to foster a love for reading among students and commemorate P.N. Panicker, the Father of the Library Movement in Kerala.
The day began with a special assembly where student Vinayas explained the significance of the day.
Headmistress Sr Lavina Veigas addressed the students, emphasizing how reading enhances vocabulary, creativity, and academic growth.
A musical performance by Reshel Vas and group of students on the value of reading added charm to the celebration.
The event concluded with a reading pledge taken by students and staff, reinforcing the commitment to daily reading.
The celebration successfully inspired students to embrace the habit of reading with the message, “Read and Grow.”
World Environment Day
World Environment Day observed at St Antony English Medium school Allipade.
Theme: Beat Plastic Pollution.
“If you take care of nature, nature will take care of you.”
On the occasion of the World Environment Day, the students of Class 6 at St Antony English Medium School, Allipade organised a special and impactful programme to raise awareness about protecting our planet.
This year’s theme, “Beat Plastic Pollution,” served as a strong reminder for everyone to take meaningful steps toward a cleaner and greener Earth.
The program began with a soulful prayer and a warm welcome. The students Vellyna Vas and Thyyeb spoke passionately about the importance of the day encouraging all to care for nature and reduce pollution.
Leeshal presented a thought-provoking slogan created by the class, powerfully reinforcing the message of sustainability.
Lekhan clearly explained the year’s theme and motivated everyone to avoid single-use plastics. A moving highlight of the program was the environmental pledge led by Moksha, where the entire school united in promising to save trees, conserve water, and reduce waste.
The Headmistress appreciated the students’ efforts and reminding everyone of their shared responsibility to protect the environment.
The event was a strong reminder that even small actions can make a big difference. Let’s stand together and take the pledge to beat the plastic pollution.
Patron’s Day
St Antony English Medium School, Allipade celebrated Patron’s Day
St Antony English Medium School, Allipade, celebrated its Patron’s Day on June 17, 2025 with great joy and reverence.
The celebration began with a prayer service seeking blessings for the day, followed by a graceful welcome dance. A floral tribute was presented at the statue of Saint Antony, the school’s beloved patron as a symbol of love and reverence.
Lita of Class IV shared meaningful thoughts about the significance of the day, while Reshal of Class VII and Lavisha of Class V narrated the inspiring life and legacy of St Antony.
Rev. Fr Robert Dsouza, the Correspondent of the school addressed the staff and students, emphasizing the role of a patron saint as a guiding and protective presence in our lives. He encouraged the students to follow the virtues of St Anthony in our lives.
The first issue of the school magazine, Antonite 2024–25, was released, which is showcasing the academic and creative achievements of the students.
The assembly concluded with the National Anthem, instilling a sense of pride and unity. Sahith of Class VII compered the programme and Rion of Class VII proposed the vote of thanks.
Mr Naveen Moras, the Vice president of the Parish council was present for the programme. The event was a grand success, thanks to the guidance of Headmistress Sr Lavina Veigas and the dedicated efforts of Ms Joyce Valder the Class IV teacher, who mentored the students with care.
The day was truly a memorable and meaningful occasion, bringing the school community together in a spirit of faith, unity, and celebration.
The World Ocean Day

On 9th June 2025, St. Anthony English Medium School, Allipade observed the World Ocean Day with great enthusiasm and awareness.
Charvi of Class V announced the theme of World Ocean Day.( Catalysing Action for our ocean and climate)
Shini of Class V spoke beautifully about the importance of oceans and the need to protect the marine life.
An educational skit was performed by the students of Class V students, showing how sea creatures are affected by plastic pollution. It educated our students to understand why we must keep our oceans clean.
The Headmistress appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to be responsible towards nature.
The celebration reminded us that "every drop matters, and every action counts when it comes to protecting our oceans".
LKG Grand Opening and Welcome Ceremony
A grand opening ceremony to welcome LKG kids at St Antony Nursery School, Allipade.
The little kids of LKG arrived with smiling faces and their parents lovingly handed over their children to the teachers, trusting in love, care and guidance as they began their first steps of learning at St Antony Nursery School Allipade.
The day began with a special prayerful assembly where the correspondent, Fr Robert D’Souza, welcomed everyone and shared inspiring words to motivate students for the new academic year.
The nursery section was beautifully decorated with balloons creating a festive and cheerful atmosphere.
To mark the grand opening Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza, the Correspondent and the HM Sr Lavina Veigas unveiled the curtain, symbolizing a fresh start filled with hope and quality learning.
Ms Meenakshi welcomed the gathering, Ms Premalatha delivered the vote of thanks expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the successful reopening and Ms Sareena compered the programme.
Teachers were introduced to the students and parents. the details were given with regard to the academic schedule and upcoming events.
Classrooms were well-prepared and all safety and cleanliness measures were ensured. The atmosphere was filled with energy and excitement as students settled into their new classes.

The school reopening for the academic year 2025-26 was organised at St Anthony English medium School, Allipade with great enthusiasm and excitement.
The school was beautifully decorated with balloons and flowers to welcome the students. The school management and staff made special efforts to welcome the students and created an inspiring atmosphere.
The inauguration ceremony was graced by the School Correspondent Rev. Fr Robert Dsouza, the Headmistress Sr Lavina Veigas, and the Vice- President of the Parish Council, Mr. Naveen Moras.
At the entrance of the school, teachers welcomed the students and directed them to their new classrooms. There was a lively interaction between teachers and students with regard to the holiday experiences.
A prayer service was organized, and the students prayed for various intentions.
In his address, Rev. Fr. Robert Dsouza encouraged the students to seize the various opportunities available and strive for excellence in all their endeavors. He emphasized the importance of hard work, cleanliness, time management, and determination.
Sr Lavina Veigas, the headmistress motivated the students to set new academic goals and plan their actions to achieve them. The ceremony concluded with the distribution of sweets. All the students enjoyed themselves and carried sweet memories of the first day of school with smiles on their faces
