Novena in Preparation for the Feast of Monti Saibin Begins at St. Antony Church, Allipade
The nine-day Novena in preparation for the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, popularly known as Monti Saibin, began at St. Antony Church, Allipade, with the Holy Eucharistic celebration at 7:30 a.m.
The members of Nityadar Ward led the praise and worship. The Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza, offered the Holy Mass and delivered a meaningful homily, highlighting the importance of faith and devotion to Mother Mary.
As part of the Novena tradition, flowers were offered to Baby Mary at the grotto as a sign of love and honour. Special prayers were also offered for the intentions of the devotees and benefactors.
The first day of the Novena concluded with great devotion and spiritual fervour.
