Parents Teachers' Meeting
Parents Teachers' Meeting held at St Antony English Medium School Allipade Concludes
The Parent-Teacher General Body Meeting for the academic year 2026–27 was held with great enthusiasm and high attendance at St Antony English Medium School, Allipade.
The programme commenced with a graceful prayer dance presented by the students, setting a serene tone for the day.
The teacher, Mrs Tulasi warmly welcomed the esteemed gathering. Following this, the Headmistress, Sr. Lavina Vegas , delivered the introductory address. She highlighted the school's recent academic achievements, outlined future plans, and emphasized the vital role that active collaboration between parents and teachers plays in shaping a bright future for the students.
Honouring ceremony was held to felicitate the meritorious students who excelled in the previous academic year.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Balakrishna Podlar —an outstanding Kabaddi trainer and a dedicated educator —was warmly felicitated on behalf of the school, under the guidance.
A key highlight of the event was the official release of the school's annual magazine The Antonite 2026 , unveiled in the presence of the dignitaries.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest, emphasized that instead of merely focusing on how to raise children, it is essential for adults to deeply understand the unique challenges and modern issues faced by today's youth. He delivered an inspiring talk on the Panchasopana' approach to holistic child development, which focuses on five core pillars:

He stressed that a strong, supportive partnership between parents and teachers is the foundation upon which a child's successful future is built.
Collaborative Feedback
During the interactive session, parents enthusiastically shared their feedback, expressing high appreciation for the school's academic excellence, strict discipline, and overall functioning.
The School Correspondent, Rev. Fr Robert D'Souza, addressed the gathering and spoke about the holistic development and progress of the school. He extended his best wishes to all the parents, teachers, students, and well-wishers, and expressed his hope for the continued growth and success of the institution.
The event was well-attended by the members of the school management, the entire teaching staff, and a large number of supportive parents.
The programme was efficiently compered by Mrs. Vanitha, and a
vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Soumya. The successful event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem.
RED DAY CELEBRATION
St. Antony English Medium School celebrated Red Day with great enthusiasm on 30th June 2026. The programme was organized for the LKG and UKG students to help them recognize the colour red and understand its importance in everyday life through fun-filled learning activities.
The programme was graced by our respected Correspondent, Rev. Fr. Robert D'Souza, and our Headmistress, Sr. Lavina Veigas. The celebration began with a prayer led by the LKG and UKG children. Shrinika of UKG delivered the welcome speech and warmly welcomed the gathering.
Haifa Fathima of UKG presented a speech highlighting the significance of Red Day. The children confidently spoke about various red-coloured objects such as apples, roses, hearts, blood, and traffic signals, demonstrating their understanding of the theme. The LKG and UKG students also delighted everyone with a vibrant and energetic dance performance.
The young learners actively participated in all the activities, displaying their creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm. Addressing the gathering, our Correspondent appreciated the sincere efforts of the students and encouraged them to continue learning through such meaningful activities.
Adding to the festive spirit, the children came dressed in beautiful red-coloured attire and brought red fruits, making the celebration colourful, lively, and educational. As part of the celebration, the children joyfully shared sweets and fruits with one another, promoting the values of sharing, caring, and friendship.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by Ayisha Sidra of UKG.
The Red Day Celebration was a joyful, colourful, and memorable learning experience that helped the children identify the colour red while building their confidence, communication skills, and social values.
The programme was successfully coordinated by the Nursery teachers, Ms. Meenakshi and Ms. Premalatha.

A joyful and heartwarming Nursery Reopening Celebration was held at St. Antony Nursery School, Allipade on 3rd June 2026 at 10:00 a.m. The school campus sparkled with colourful balloons, cheerful decorations, and smiling faces as the tiny tots stepped into their second home for the first time.
The programme began with a prayer song by the Primary Section teachers, creating a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The opening of the L.K.G. class was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Robert D'Souza and Sr. Lavina Veigas in the gracious presence of parents, teachers, and children.
The Correspondent, in his inaugural address, thanked the parents for their trust and confidence in the institution. He assured them that the school would provide quality education enriched with strong values, discipline, and good behaviour.
The teachers welcomed the little learners with a melodious welcome song, while the Correspondent and the Headmistress greeted each child with a beautiful handmade flower as a token of love and affection.
The event was gracefully compered by Ms. Sowmya, and Ms. Kavitha warmly welcomed the gathering and the new members of the St. Antony family.
The tiny tots filled the campus with laughter, bright smiles, and excitement. Their innocent presence added colour and joy to the celebration. To make the day even sweeter, sweets were distributed to all the children.
Ms. Meenakshi and Ms. Premalatha lovingly received the children, helping them feel comfortable, happy, and eager to begin their learning journey.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Ms. Vanitha, who expressed gratitude to the Correspondent, parents, teachers, and everyone who contributed to the success of the event.

World Environment Day celebration

The students of Class 7 organized and conducted a meaningful special assembly to celebrate World Environment Day.
The program was designed to raise awareness about environmental issues and inspire the student body to take actionable steps toward conservation.
A Reverent Beginning
The assembly commenced with a solemn prayer and the rendering of the State Anthem by the school choir, setting a respectful tone for the morning. Following this, Fathima Nifa led the gathering in taking an environmental pledge, reinforcing everyone's commitment to protecting the planet.
Voices for the Planet
Moksha S.K. delivered an insightful speech on the significance of World Environment Day, emphasizing the critical need to preserve nature and conserve our depleting natural resources. Adding to the morning's inspiration, Ayisha Safa shared a thoughtful "Thought for the Day" centered on ecological responsibility.
Conservation Through Art and Music

An Educational Skit: A powerful drama on environmental protection was brilliantly performed by a talented ensemble including Chiranjeevi, Mazin, Prinston Fernandes, Dhanvith D., Rifaz, Vishal, Harshini, Luha Shaifa, Fathima Ziya, Fathimathul Shamshiyya, Alvisha Lobo, Lishal, Reema Genefer Menezes, Pranav Nayak, Pratham V. Nayak, and Preetham Nayak.
Melodious Awareness:* An environment-themed song was beautifully rendered by Tasvi K., Prapthi, Pranvi, and Moksha S.K., which carried a deep message of sustainability and care for Mother Earth.
Words of Wisdom & Green Action
Headmistress Sr Lavina Veigas addressed the assembly, encouraging students to actively cultivate eco-friendly habits in their daily lives.
Turning words into action, our Correspondent, Father Robert D'Souza, alongside Headmistress Sr. Lavina Veigas and student representatives, planted two saplings in pots to symbolize the school's ongoing commitment to a greener future.
Concluding the event on a practical note, the Class 7 students and their class teacher planted saplings in the school playground.
Event Summary: The entire program was flawlessly compered by Thrupthi S. Under the guidance of their class teacher, the students of Class 7 put together an informative, inspiring, and highly successful assembly that successfully ignited a sense of environmental responsibility across the school.

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY TRAINING for Teachers at St Antony English Medium School, Allipade
To learn a language is to have one more window from which to look at the world.–Angers
A intensive three-day English Proficiency Training Programme was successfully conducted from 25 May, 2026 to 27 May, 2026 at St. Antony English Medium School, Allipade.
The primary objective of this initiative was to enhance the communication skills, grammatical knowledge, and pedagogical teaching abilities of the faculty.
The Inauguration
The programme commenced with a solemn prayer service, followed by a warm welcome address by the Headmistress, Sr Lavina Veigas. The event was officially inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp.
The training sessions were expertly facilitated by the resource persons, Mrs Anitha Angaline Veigas and Ms Savitha Salian, who kept the atmosphere highly informative, lively, and interactive.
Key Highlights & Core Topics over the course of the three days, the sessions delved deeply into essential linguistic and classroom tools. Key topics included:
*English communication and accurate pronunciation
Effective classroom interaction techniques
Core grammar concepts: Prepositions, Verbs, Reported Speech, Change of Tenses, Subject–Verb Agreement, and Active/Passive Voice
Each topic was reinforced with practical examples, engaging group activities, and hands-on practice exercises.
To keep the participants energized and focused, wholesome and delicious meals were served every day, truly strengthening both mind and body for the rigorous sessions.
The teachers participated whole-heartedly in every session and grammar drill. Expressing the collective sentiment of the trainees, Mrs. Malini Sadhana Lobo and Sister Precilla Prema highly appreciated the dedicated efforts of the resource persons. The Correspondent also addressed the gathering, encouraging the teachers to actively implement these newly acquired skills in their daily classroom teaching.
The entire event was smoothly compered by Mrs Vinaya, and a gracious vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs Babitha. The training programme concluded successfully on May 27, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., leaving all participants with a deeply positive, motivating, and enriching learning experience
