Catechism Meeting for Children, Parents and Teachers
St. Antony Church, Allipade
A Catechism Meeting for children, parents, and teachers was held at St. Antony Church, Allipade, on 14 June 2026. The gathering aimed to strengthen collaboration among students, parents, and catechism teachers in nurturing the faith formation of children.
The meeting was attended by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza, Parish Council Vice President Mr. Ronald Pais, Secretary Mr. Vinod Sequeira, and the Coordinator of the 22 Commissions, Mr. John Walder.
The catechism teachers warmly welcomed the dignitaries and all those present. As a gesture of encouragement, prizes were distributed to the students who had faithfully attended Sunday Mass during the vacation period.
Following the prize distribution, Mr. Ronald Pais addressed the gathering and highlighted the importance of active participation in parish and catechetical activities.
Later, Rev. Fr. Robert D’Souza, who presided over the meeting, spoke in detail about the duties and responsibilities of children, parents, and teachers in fostering Christian values and spiritual growth. He emphasized the vital role of each group in building a strong faith-filled community.
The program was efficiently compered by Ms. Reena, while Ms. Sweety, the Catechism Coordinator, delivered the welcome address. The vote of thanks was proposed by Ms. Cletta.
The meeting concluded successfully, inspiring all present to work together for the holistic faith formation of the children of the parish.
