St Antony Church, St Antony English Medium School and St John Kannada medium school Allipade jointly organised the Republic Day Celebration at Allipade school ground at 9.00am.
Rev Fr Robert Dsouza the Parish Priest hoisted the national flag. Sr Narcisa Sequeira, Sr Lavina Veigas, Mr Naveen Moras, Mr Kiran Noronha, Mrs Vinoda, Br Ajay Dsouza were present on the stage. Hundreds of Parishioners, students, staff and local people took part in the celebration.

St. Antony English Medium School Allipade proudly hosted its Annual Exhibition for students from L.K.G to VII on January 3, 2025. The event aimed to showcase the students’ understanding and artistic talents across a wide array of subjects, including Mathematics, English, History, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, and Arts and Crafts.

Students presented their work under different themes, such as Agriculture, Food, Security, Sources of Energy and Conservation, Transport and Communication, demonstrating impressive innovation and creativity by designing their own automobiles and crafts.
In addition enabling students to execute their scientific ideas, the exhibition served as a valuable platform for them to share and discuss their projects with teachers and classmates, fostering a spirit of collaboration and learning within the school community. Overall, the event highlighted the hard work and dedication of the students, leaving a positive impression on all attendees.
Rev. Fr Robert D'Souza, Headmistress Sr Lavina Veigas, and the entire faculty graced the occasion. Anha Mariam from third grade delivered a warm welcome address and skilfully narrated the proceedings. The Annual Sports Day for the academic year 2024-25 at St. Antony English Medium School was commenced on 28-11-2024 with considerable enthusiasm on the school grounds. The event was graced by notable dignitaries, including:

The guests were respectfully welcomed with a grand escort by the school band and students who lined the pathway, signifying their reverence for the distinguished attendees.
The program commenced with a solemn prayer song, succeeded by the rendition of the State Anthem, which effectively set a patriotic tone for this inspiring event.

Notable achievements were recognized during the event, with Sanvi and Pranav being honored for securing 1st place at the taluk level in Prathiba Karanji and athletics, respectively.

St. Antony English Medium School, hosted a spectacular event, "Talent Hunt 2024" to commemorate Children's Day on November 14th. The program was held at Sauharda Sabhabhavan and featured an array of exciting cultural performances, dances, and music.
The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Mrs. Sylvia Fernandes, PDO of Sarapadi Gram Panchayat, Rev.Fr. Robert DSouza, Correspondent of St. Antony English Medium School, Mr. Naveen Moras, Vice President of Church Parish Council, Mr. Purushotham the President oF SDMC of St. John's Kannada Medium School, the managenent committee members of St. Antony English Medium School Mr. Kiran Noronha, Mr. Vincent Pinto, and Mr. Jochim Pinto, Headmistresses of both schoolsMrs. Vinoda and Sr. Lavina Veigas.
The program commenced on a divine note with a soulful prayer dance, establishing a serene and spiritual ambiance. The guests then paid a heartfelt tribute to Nehruji by garlanding his portrait.
The chief guest with other dignitaries untied the ribbon to blossom the stunning floral craft , thus inaugurating the commencement of Talent Hunt 2024 .
Subsequently, the chief guest, Mrs. Sylvia Fernandes, was warmly felicitated by the Correspondent, Rev. Fr. Robert D'Souza along with guests in a ceremony conducted by Miss Vanitha.
Then chief guest in her speech emphasized that children's behavior is a reflection of the respect they have for their parents, making them proud. She encouraged the children to develop a reading habit, nurturing a lifelong love for books and learning. She motivated the kids to stay focused on their goals, avoid excessive cell phone use, and strive to become responsible citizens of the country, contributing positively to society. Master Pranav U, the proud taluk level winner of athletics and Kumari Sanvi shetty, the proud taluk level winners of Prathiba Karanji were warmly felicitated in a ceremony conducted by Miss Sareena.
Rev. Father Robert kicked off the celebration, reminding everyone that today is all about letting the kids shine and show off their amazing talents he also encouraged kids to shine at the children's feast.
Adding to the Talents Hunt, the children were eager to receive the prizes in various competition including Academic excellence, Table competitions and Various competitions held during Independence Day.
The formal program concluded on a high note, the stage transformed into a vibrant platform, showcasing the diverse collections including captivating dances, elaborate fancy dress performances, eloquent speeches, mesmerizing flute and keyboard recitals, energetic tiger and action dances, thought-provoking theme dances, graceful yoga dances, expressive mime shows, and engaging skits, breathtaking and mystifying magic show, vibrant traditional folk dance etc.
The cultural program culminated in a resounding success, concluding with the highly anticipated mass dance, a grand finale that witnessed students and teachers coming together in perfect harmony, their faces aglow with joy.

Kannada Rajyothsava celebration at St. Antony Eng Med School, Allipade
On November 1st, St. Antony English Medium School Allipade organized a vibrant celebration for the 69th Kannada Rajyotsava and Diwali, reflecting our commitment to honoring the formation of Karnataka. The event commenced with a thoughtful prayer by the choir, which set a positive and uplifting tone. Samshiya, a 5th-grade student, welcomed attendees with an engaging speech that helped foster a sense of community.

The medical check-up was efficiently conducted at St. Antony English Medium School, Allipade, on Wednesday, 16th October 2024.
This health check-up was an integral part of every child's development. Its primary purpose was to monitor and evaluate the students' health status, identify any medical issues, and promote awareness about health and hygiene among the students.
A team of doctors and medical staff from Father Muller Medical College, Hospital Thumbay conducted various tests, including:
1. General Physical Examination
- Height and weight measurement.
- Body Mass Index Calculation.
2. Dental check-up
- Inspection for cavities and oral hygiene issues.
3. Skin and hygiene check-up
- Inspection for infections, rashes, or skin conditions.
The majority of the students were found to be in good health.
The doctors guided the students to have:
- Regular eye and dental check-ups.
- Encouraged healthy eating and physical activity to maintain a healthy Body Mass Index.
- Maintain personal hygiene.
The health check-up was successfully conducted, providing valuable insights into the students' health. Parents of students requiring further medical care were notified, and appropriate follow-up actions have been recommended.

On the 14th of October, St. Antony English Medium School Allipade is thrilled to commence the second term of the academic year with a well-organized school assembly led by the fifth-grade students. The assembly began with a warm welcome from Moksha, representing the student body, emphasizing the significance of education. The school's correspondent, Rev Fr. Robert Dsouza, inspired the students to excel in all school activities, setting the stage for an engaging and educational second half of the academic year.
The meticulously planned orientation program in each class provided students with a strong start for the upcoming term. The sessions, skilfully conducted by the respective teachers, integrated team games and action songs to boost engagement and encourage active participation from the students.

On the 2nd of October, St. Antony English Medium School conducted a commemorative program at the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
The programme started with an introduction to the importance of Gandhi Jayanti, leading to a soulful prayer that filled the atmosphere with serenity.
The Gandhi Jayanti celebration commenced with a solemn and reverential gesture, as our respected Headmistress, Sr. Lavina Veigas, led the students and staff in garlanding the photograph of Mahatma Gandhi. This poignant ritual signified our deepest respect and gratitude for the Father of the Nation, setting the tone for the rest of the program.
Aradya, a 7th standard student, delivered a heartfelt speech in Hindi about Mahatma Gandhi, highlighting his significance as the 'Father of the Nation'.
In her speech, Greeshma of Class 7th explored the transformative childhood experiences that moulded Mahatma Gandhi's personality.
A documentary on Mahatma Gandhi's life and achievements was screened, captivating the attention of the young audience
The school choir team's soulful rendition of the bhajan "Ragupathi Ragav Rajaram" resonated deeply with the audience.
The program was dignified by the presence of the correspondent, the headmistress, faculty members, and students.
Through his presidential address, Rev Father Robert Douza, the correspondent, eloquently illustrated Mahatma Gandhi's remarkable transition from a barrister to a champion of simplicity, humility, and selflessness.
The school HM likely emphasized the importance of Gandhi Jayanti to remind students of Gandhi's values and principles, such as truth, non-violence, and community service. Teachers' Day celebration at St Antony Eng Med School, Allipade
St Antony School joyfully celebrated Teachers’ day on September 6 honouring the tireless dedication and contributions of its educators. This day also marks the birth anniversary of Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan revered academician Bharat Ratna recipient diplomat and timeless teacher.
On this remarkable day the teachers were warmly welcomed by the students who excitedly prepared a day of fun and celebration. The program commenced with a prayer dance invoking God’s blessings. The welcome speech was delivered by Larisha Pais who warmly greeted everyone with a smile . Floral tribute to the portrait of Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan was paid to embark on his influence.
The students organized the work of teachers. The event commenced with a heartfelt medley of songs followed by captivating dance performances dedicated to the teachers. On behalf of students Reeva Pinto expressed her views and thoughts about teachers.
One of the key highlights of the event was a skit depicting the unique bond between teachers and students. It resonated deeply with the audience learning a lasting impression. Sanvi Shetty compered the program students conducted various games for the all staff adding an interactive and enjoyable element to the event.

St John's Kannada Medium & St. Antony English Medium School host Taluk Level Yoga Competition
St John's Kannada Medium School and St. Antony English Medium School Allipade jointly hosted Taluk Level Yoga competition at the Sauharda Sabhabavan on 28 August, 2024. The morning was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolic some atmosphere. Competition was held for under-14 age group. 30 schools from the region participated with great enthusiasm.
The programme began with a welcome dance by St Antony School students followed by prayer song. Headmistress Vinoda welcomed the gathering.
As Chief guest Shivaprasad Rai, Taluk Inspector of Physical Education, who emphasized the importance of yoga in today's fast-paced world. "If we want a strong country, we need strong youth, and yoga is the key to achieving that strength," Rai said in his address.
Rev. Fr Robert D'Souza the correspondent of the school and the of President of the program wished the contestants success and emphasized the balance between victory and defeat.

Government Higher Primary School, Koila, emerged as the overall champion in both boys and girls categories, with their students winning top prizes in various events.

Plantation Day celebrated at St. Antony Nursery school, Allipade
The 'plantation Day' was celebrated at St. Antony Nursery school, Allipade on 19th August 2024 to promote love and respect towards nature in the little children.
The programme was inaugurated by Rev. Fr. Robert D'Souza the correspondent of our school by watering the plant along with the school Headmistress Sr. Lavina Veigas and nursery students. He encouraged children to protect and promote nature by planting saplings keeping the environment clean etc.

The students sang Vande Mataram and the National Anthem, and the school choir added to the moment's spirit by singing 'Janda Ooncha Rahe Hamra', which filled with the atmosphere of patriotism.
To remind everyone of the significance of the day, Mushrifa of 7th delivered a thoughtful speech on the importance of the day, capturing the essence of the sacrifices made for the country's freedom. The Chief Guest of the day, Rev. Fr. Robert Dsouza, emphasized the importance of unity and responsibility among students as the future of the nation. Miss Mariya Jyothi delivered the vote of thanks. The event continued with a vibrant line up of cultural events organised by the students in the school auditorium.

The celebration kicked off with a captivating dance, setting a positive and enthusiastic atmosphere for the day. The audience was further enthralled by a mesmerizing patriotic dance and the air was filled with nationalistic pride as students sang a melodious patriotic song. Investiture Ceremony at St Antony Eng Med School Allipade

The investiture ceremony for the academic year 2024-25 was held with great pomp and dignity at St Antony English Medium School, Allipade on 5th July 2024. The glorious occasion was witnessed by the beloved correspondent, the management, teachers, parents, and students.
The ceremony was held with zeal and enthusiasm. It commenced with a prayer dance by the students followed by the lighting of a ceremonial lamp. The representatives were honoured with badges, and sashes, and handed over school flags and house flags to the respective members of the council. The Correspondent Rev. Fr. Robert D Souza administered the oath of office to the new council members, urging them to discharge their duties with integrity and dedication.
The chief guest motivated the students through activity and emphasized being self-disciplined and trusting in their abilities as leaders. He encouraged the new cabinet members to adhere to three key principles: respect and responsibility, approachability, and teamwork and asked them to practice self-cleanliness and the surroundings.
The program was hosted by Ms. Babitha. The vote of thanks was rendered by ASPL Sahith. With the heads standing tall, the ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
Vanamahotsava celebrated at St.Antony Eng Med school, Allipade
"Where there are green trees on earth, there is a heaven" - Upasana Pattanayak.
Vanamahotsava was celebrated at St. Antony English Medium school, Allipade on 2nd July 2024 in the school auditorium. The students showcased their skills in speech, recitation of poem and sung a nature song which highlighted the importance of trees. Students were encouraged to plant a sapling at home.
A quiz was conducted to educate the significance of the day.
The Students planted saplings around the perimeter of the school ground, in the presence of the headmistress, the teachers and the students.
The students, headmistress and the staff presented a sapling to the correspondent to promote afforestation.
The program ended with the national anthem.

In this regard, the St. Antony English Medium School Allipade had its first Parent Teacher Meet on Wednesday 26 June 2024 at 10 a.m. in Souhardha Sabhabhavan Allipade.

The meeting commenced with a Prayer Dance by the Students followed by a warm welcome from Ms. Babitha Joyce.
The Headmistress of the school exchanged ideas about the happenings of the current academic year and explained the proceedings of the academic year.
The Correspondent of the school delivered a presidential address, emphasizing the parents to set a good example for their children. He expressed his gratitude to parents for their goodwill in choosing this school for their children's education. Finally, he promised to promote this school in every way to provide quality education to the school children in a better way.

This year Yoga Day is celebrated with the theme of "Yoga for Women Empowerment" which highlights the transforming power of yoga.
To raise awareness about this ancient practice and to celebrate the physical and spiritual prowess that yoga has brought to the world, International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21st June 2024 at St. Antony English Medium School, Allipade under the able guidance of the headmistress Sr. Lavina Veigas.
The event began with a brief introduction on Yoga Day by Ms. Vinaya and welcoming the guest by Ms. Babitha. Ms.Sowmya took the warm-up exercises and all the students practiced and performed sitting and standing asanas. The importance of these was explained simultaneously.
The celebration ended with the Value speech by Sanvi of Class 7th. A Yoga quiz was conducted for students to create more awareness about yoga.
Then the Headmistress Sr. Lavina Veigas encouraged the students to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration. The program ended with a pledge taken by all the students, and teachers, as well as the headmistress. Finally, Ms. Thulasi proposed the vote of thanks.
